The Apere Turm lies pretty much at the centre of the glacier peaks around the Franz Senn Hütte.

The Apere Turm lies pretty much at the centre of the glacier peaks around the Franz Senn Hütte. The reason why it is fairly lonely on the summit most of the time is probably the 3 1/2 hours it normally takes from the hut. Apart from its length, the route is easy except for the last few metres before the summit!
