Two violent storms within 3 days!

Hardest hit by the storm were the hydroelectric power plant that is supposed to supply the hut with electricity and the access road to the Ober-Iss-Alm! Bridges were swept away, hiking trails washed out or blocked or destroyed by mudflows.

Unfortunately, the Höllenrachen via ferrata was also completely destroyed by the masses of water and cannot be repaired, as undercutting has led to rockfalls!

All hiking trails and glacier access paths have been repaired or checked – there are only minor but harmless obstructions!

FOR VEHICLES, THE ACCESS ROAD BETWEEN SEDUCK AND THE OBER- ISS- ALM REMAINS CLOSED!
