For ages I have been planning to put up a route through the south face. The long approach and the related question of whether it would make sense for repeat ascents had so far held me back.
A lad from Bavaria named Julius, only 16 years old, was so enthusiastic about the idea of opening this route after all that we tackled it despite everything.
